DeFacto Platform for Dialogue and Development participated last week in a workshop held in the German city of Bonn titled “Regional Dialogue on the Future of Syria.” The event was organized under the framework of the “Understanding and Exchange” initiative, implemented in partnership with the Gulf Research Center.
The workshop brought together a group of prominent experts from West Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Levant, including DeFacto’s Chief Advisor, Zozan Alloush.
Participants discussed current regional dynamics, governance challenges, and potential opportunities to foster dialogue and build partnerships in the post-conflict phase.
The “Understanding and Exchange” initiative aims to promote a comprehensive and shared understanding of regional security across West Asia and the Arabian Peninsula.
DeFacto emphasized that such discussions, forums, and workshops represent an important step toward building a more realistic and collective vision for the future of Syria and the wider region.
